American Forest Management Services: Ecological Services
For clients who are in need of assistance regarding the endangered species act, wetland regulations, or other federal, state or local regulations, we offer biological assessments, environmental assessments, environmental impact statements and conservation management plans that are tailored to address specific projects, permit requests or letters of concurrence. These services often include:
Habitat Conservation Plans (HCPs) - which address endangered species and requests for federal incidental take permits. These plans also include mitigation activities. HCPs can be written to address the Red-Cockaded Woodpecker, other federally listed species, and wetland issues.
Environmental impact statements and subsequent Federal Section 7 consultation for endangered species (both plants and animals). These plans satisfy industry requirements where federal funding is involved.
Red-Cockaded Woodpecker surveys, monitoring and management which include development of timber harvesting plans that satisfy federal private land recommendation for management of the Red-Cockaded Woodpecker.
Red-Cockaded Woodpecker baseline surveys for the safe harbor program that guarantee issuance of inclusion certificates.
